Rede provided project management and design coordination services for the relocation and expansion of the Build & Design Centre to Brisbane Airport’s Skygate precinct. The project involved the delivery of a purpose‑built, two‑level retail and showroom facility spanning more than 4,000m², designed to accommodate over 70 individual showrooms within a single, highly integrated environment.

A key focus of the project was the development of a flexible and intuitive spatial layout that enables a seamless walk‑through customer experience, while supporting a diverse mix of tenants showcasing interior, exterior and structural building products. Rede managed the design process to balance functional planning, brand individuality and operational efficiency, alongside stakeholder coordination within the established Skygate precinct. The project also incorporated dedicated spaces for industry seminars and workshops, integrated access and parking arrangements, and alignment with broader precinct infrastructure, ensuring the facility functions as a centralised hub for residential and commercial building and renovation activity.
